Anthony Bailey, Stafford If you’re looking for a boxing club in central Stafford you’re in luck – the Stafford Fight Factory is based in The Sports Shed, an old railway building round the back of Stafford’s Tesco Extra car park – a great central location. Boxing classes suitable for all levels take place on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings (6pm-7pm) and advanced boxing classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays (7pm-8:30pm). The Fight Factory offers classes not just in standard Western Boxing but also in Thai Boxing (Muay Thai) and a the grappling arts including basic grappling classes and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ). Headed by coach Kad Khan, the Merridale Boxing Club is a well established amateur boxing club that’s produced a few regional and national champions in recent years.
